AVIDTracker Remote

The AVIDTracker Remote device allows you to track more than just vehicles. The AVIDTracker Remote kit contains everything you need to track items that do not contain a diagnostics port. Information is collected from the equipment you are tracking and sent to the AVIDdashboard web monitoring system. AVIDdashboard provides up to the minute last location of the equipment from the main viewing screen. In addition to last location you can get a detailed view of where the equipment has been. The peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly where your equipment is 24 hours a day offers a level of security unsurpassed with other monitoring systems.

If you are worried about the device being removed we have an alert that provides notification if the unit has not reported in within a set period of time. This provides you with the assurance that the product is being used as intended.

What is Included With AVIDTracker Remote?

The actual tracking device is about the size of a paging device. The power source for this model is obtained directly from the vehicle, and there is an optional rechargeable Lithium ION Battery that can be added (ask about our battery backup options) for battery backup. Included in the kit are several wiring harnesses to provide connection with the equipment you wish to track. Installation depends on what you are attaching to/what you wish to track on the equipment. (We have installation technicians available in most areas, ask about installation options)

Once installed information about the equipment and location information is transmitted via cellular networks back to the AVIDdashboard server where you can review from any web enabled PC or your Smart Phone. In addition to viewing location information you can easily create alerts to be sent to your email or cell phone such as excessive speed, ignition on/off, movement of equipment during off hours, speed, etc.
