AVIDdirector- M2M
Model 200

Technical Specifications

The AVIDdirector™ product line consists of several models of intelligent Machine to Machine M2M Devices that are designed to work with a broad range of remote equipment and all mobile data networks such as such as cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 900 MHz or Zigbee. AVIDdirector-M2M is a compact device designed to quickly integrate with sensors, equipment or devices and deliver information back to corporate systems or to one of many suggested web portal options available.

The information that is collected from the remote equipment, devices, assets, machinery, etc. can be saved on the AVIDdirector device itself and collected periodically, or create applications which make a determination as to which information you would like to send and when to send it. The information can be viewed in any number of ways or may be integrated directly with your current information support systems.

AVIDdirector is Intelligent

  • A high-performance, programmable Java based platform
  • Able to gather, process, and format information and then transmit over the appropriate wireless network
  • Versatile I/O Processor for M2M applications

AVIDdirector is Configurable

  • Highly configurable sensor and device connections
    • 18 TTL level I/O, 4 are analog in/out, additional 4 are analog in and all are digital in/out
    • 4 additional TTL level I/O that can be used for a serial port
    • 7 RS-232 lines to match the DB-9, these can support 1 or 2 serial connections
    • 2 pins for I2C
    • 3 pins for terminal console (TTL)
    • Ground and voltage, either +5 or line in (nominal +12V)
  • Choose any wireless radio for transmission of data

AVIDdirector is Rugged

  • Built to work in -40° to 65°C with no ventilation

AVIDdirector-M2M Components
