AVIDSmartNodes™
Wireless 2.4GHz Sensors
Our AVIDSmartNode Sensors are available in several configurations. Output can be either RS232 or ZigBee 2.4 GHz. The Sensors can be configured as point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, or multipoint-to-multipoint data transmission and can form a star, peer to peer or mesh network. Both RS232 and ZigBee utilize the industry standard Modbus protocol. The AVIDSmartNodes communicates directly with the AVIDdirector via the 2.4 GHz band. The sensor can be up to 2 miles line of site away from the AVIDdirector with standard antennas and can be extended with additional antennas.
Power can be supplied directly from 12 to 24 VDC or ordered with our Solar Solutions shown above.
